So here is mamma's big girl getting ready for her first solid food! You can tell how excited she is to eat. Today was Cam's four month wellness check, and the doctor said she could start with a little bit a daily mush. My little one weighs 13 lbs 11 oz, this is just in the 48th percentile. She is 25 3/4 inches tall, and that puts her in the 96th percentile! She is so tall! Her head measured 41.1 cm, and this is in the 52nd percentile. He said she is growing and developing great, above average in fact and this made mommy really really happy. Mamma's little genius girl. She had to get some booster shots, but after about 30 seconds of tears she was alright:) Anyhoo, doctor said some solids would be okay for her. It wouldn't hurt for a little bit more weight to catch up to her height.
Cambria just loved the mush, she did so great with the spoon. She really didn't spit much out either, she was able to "chew" very nicely and get most of it down the hatch:) She was like a little bird, with her little mouth open and ready for more. She ate a few tablespoons of the mush, and then still had four ounces of formula. She was hungry!
On a side note, in this picture you can see Cam's little earrings. I had her ears pierced last week, and her little earrings are so cute. They are little crystal daisies. She likes when I clean her ears, oddly enough. What a funny and great little blessing we have in our home. I would have ten kids if they were all like my little angel Cambria. We love you more than any words could ever say!
